Hey everyone! I just wanted to put a quick announcement out there about some changes in the Bella Morte Street Team. Eliza stepped down as captain earlier this year, and took over from her in June. She did some great work while serving as captain - many salutations, Eliza! We are looking for more active members to help the street team all over the United States. What we do is publicize Bella Morte's tours, do on-the-ground promotion such as flyering and networking with venues and DJs, and do web promotions and marketing. Right now, we are working on a radio station project to get Bella Morte on more of our airwaves across the US. If you are interested in joining the street team, send an email to . You can also find the Bella Morte Street Team on Myspace at http://www.myspace.com/bellamortestreetteam, and on Facebook as The Official Bella Morte Street Team. I look forward to getting to know more of you in the future! Let's send our boys to the top! -Muse en Lystrala Current Mood: busy |

Found - ladies' glasses
Pair of Liz Claiborne ladies' glasses found at 5th and SW Stark at approximately 10:45 this morning. Please describe them if you lost them - they were in the middle of the street, but appear to be undamaged. I have them at my office. |

Therapist / Psychologist
Can anyone recommend an excellent therapist? I don't care about price as much as about quality. Preferably east side. I seem to have a problem finding someone who is well educated in psychology as well as philosophy. I'm looking to debate/discuss some really important psychological issues that pertain to me. I'm not depressed, lonely, grieving, etc etc... just looking for someone to delve into my mind with me so I can reveal myself to me a little better. Reading Kierkegaard only gets me so far! |

Postcards - where to get 'em?
I am looking for stores with good selections of postcards. I don't want the generic, touristy kind of stuff - I'm looking more for interesting art and quirky, funny stuff. Close-in would be better for me, but if there is an awesome shop further out, I'd be willing to make the trek. Thanks! |

Wheres the "Ctrl-E" ?!
In earlier post there was discusion of this photo. I finally found it again and saved it this time to share. Funny thing was I found it on a flight simming site and it was mentioned how easy we have it in the sim with the J-3 Cub. You see in real life these planes require a hand start. Meaning you set the throttle, get out, and turn the prop by hand. If it fires up you jump in real quick, hit the brakes and throttle down. (Or you have someone inside working the controls while you hand start it) But in the air if the engine dies you ar S.O.L. Or are you? This brings me to the ease of the sim if you want it. In any plane if you hit "Ctrl-E" the engine starts. Simple. Bet he wished he had a Ctrl and an E key in his Cub at that moment..... hehe Though I've gotten into the habit of going throught the normal starting procedures (except on the J-3, they gave it an ignition switch in the sim) on most planes as it's fun to hit all the switches and press the start button. :) Multiple times. My Super Cub is a bitch to start, usually takes a few coughing tries. hehe The guy that modeled it put in the fact they can be cold blooded. Current Mood: busy |

Tonight Hansel came up to me and announced, "I have to go on journey, Mamma. You have to let me go on journey. I have to fight the bad guys in the world. I am part Robot and part Destiny Guy. I am the most Destiny Guy EVER. I know the bad guys are in town. They're stealing all the money. The outer space monster is in town and I KNOW that monster is in town!" Possible tremor in Milwaukie, anywhere else feel shaking?
About fifteen-twenty minutes ago, I was sitting here at my desk and felt it shaking. The hutch part of the desk was also visibly shaking and creaking a little. This happened twice in about a ten minute period, and my boyfriend who was in the other room at the time also said he felt shaking when he was sitting at his desk. We're in Milwaukie and on the third floor of an apt. building. In the past, we've felt minor shaking from possible tremors, (there was one last week) but the one instance tonight really shook the desk and now I'm cursing living in this crappy building. Did anyone else experience anything? It wasn't just a truck rumbling by, either, I know that much. |

Donations for Marysville
I just saw on the Dutch Bros. Facebook page that the Dutch Bros. on 67th and Foster is collecting school supplies for Marysville. From now until the 27th. Not sure exactly what they're looking for but I assume general school supplies and class decorating materials are a definite. I know Dollar Tree has a pretty extensive school supply section-so a good, cheap way to give back. Oh and while you are @ DB have a Pumpkin Spice Latte! Sooo good. |

The Overlords say you make too much money. http://money.cnn.com/2009/11/11/news/international/global_american_wages.breakingviews/index.htm?cnn=yesYes, they'll play on the guilt of our working class, comparing you to the poorest of the poor. Not once suggesting the elite multi-nationalist investor carries any responsibility. What makes this more transparent is read the bios on the authors. Martin Hutchiinson - "Previously, he was an international merchant banker for 25 years working in London, New York and Zagreb. In Zagreb, he established the Croatian debt capital markets." Edward Hadas - "Before becoming a journalist in 2004, he worked for 25 years as a financial analyst for various firms, including Morgan Stanley and Putnam Investments." |

Hi DP. I have another insurance question of the day. Your collective knowledge is impressive! Can anyone explain this to me? I was in a car accident in March. The other party was completely at fault, also, they were driving a rental car. When my insurance company contacted them, the other party claimed it was my fault. I was told by my insurance agent that the claims would go to arbitration, where a neutral 3rd party would hear the explanations, and decide who was at fault. Now today they called and told me that "car rental companies are not members of arbitration". They can only ask the company to provide an explanation of what happened. If they respond and insist that I am at fault, or do not respond at all, there is nothing more the insurance company can do. My insurance agent told me that is the point at which they consider an attorney. But because the insurance company is only out $4400, it's probably not worth it to them. I am personally out my $500 deductible. They told my my only other option if the current claim fails is to take them to small claims court. My questions are: Would it be worth it to take them to small claims court? Why are car rental companies exempt from arbitration? Do I have any other avenues available to me? Basically, the lesson I take from this is: You can hit another car and get away with it if you are driving a rental car. Just take it back and tell them someone hit you, and you're golden! If you read all that, thank you so much! I really do appreciate it. |

My family has to go out of town suddenly, and will be gone for a few days. We're looking for someone to check on our two cats to make sure they are safe and happy and don't wreck up the place. Does anyone here do in home pet care, or can vouch for someone's services? I'm in SE. Thanks! |
